PipKids’ Bottle

Made for small hands

Studio demo

Studio demo. An illustrated, parent’s-eye sequence that shows three features of a fictional kids’ bottle.

A child’s cartoon thumb presses the sunflower button on a green Pip bottle as the sky-blue lid flips open and the yellow straw springs up, with a “pop!” sticker and the caption “one-thumb button”.

The creative question

Can my kid actually use this on their own?

Who it's for

Parents shopping from a packshot, which can’t show how the lid opens, so they assume it needs an adult’s hands.

The idea and the hook

Film it the way a parent would, at kid scale, and let native captions count the features off.

The chosen hook

“3 things that make this easy for small hands” as a small hand reaches for the lid.

The demo creative approach

Each feature gets one numbered caption and one action: a thumb pops the lid, a finger clicks it shut over the folding straw, and a name card slides into the slot. Whip pans and a punch-in keep the phone-video feel. No faces appear, and the piece makes no claims about leaks or safety.

Development

Three frames that carried the decisions, in the order they appear in the film.

  1. Hook: a handheld wide shot of the kitchen table. It reads like a parent’s phone video, not a packshot.
  2. Feature two. The straw shows through the clear lid as it shuts, and a “click!” sticker carries the sound for muted viewers.
  3. The name card stays in for the end card, so the bottle finishes as the child’s own.
