The creative question
Is this going to be fiddly with a wriggly dog?
Who it's for
Dog owners who have fought with buckles before and expect every harness to be a two-person job.
The idea and the hook
Show it’s three steps, framed the way an owner would film it.
“putting this on takes 3 steps” over a top-down shot of the harness.
The demo creative approach
Each step gets one caption and one hand-drawn arrow, so the sequence reads instantly. The click of the buckle is the payoff moment. We kept the dog friendly and illustrated, and avoided any claim about behaviour or safety.
Development
Three frames that carried the decisions, in the order they appear in the film.
-

Hook: the harness laid flat and filmed from above, the way an owner would film it on the floor. -

One caption and one hand-drawn arrow per step, so the sequence reads at a glance with the sound off. -

The buckle click is the payoff. The piece stops at “done” and makes no claim about the dog’s behaviour.
Disclosure
Who the work was made for and how it was produced are separate facts, so we state them separately.
