Who it's for

People who work, study and read at one desk, and see Kelvin numbers without knowing what they do to a room.

The idea and the hook

One lamp, three moments of the day. Each turn of the dial re-lights the whole room.

The chosen hook

A point of light switches the ring on, and “One lamp, three lights.” appears inside it.

The demo creative approach

We treated the light as the subject. At each setting the wall, desk, objects and even the shadows change colour: crisp 5000K for morning focus, 4000K for afternoon work, amber 2700K for evening reading. Each click of the dial also swaps the objects on the desk, so the room changes job as well as colour.

Development

Three frames that carried the decisions, in the order they appear in the film.

Hook: the line sits inside the lit ring, so the lamp itself frames the opening words.
Mid-turn. A magnifier ties the readout to the dial, and the number counts down as the room re-lights.
The end card restates the idea in four words and lists the three settings as chips.
