The creative question
How do you sell a scent you can’t smell through a screen?
Who it's for
Gift and home-fragrance shoppers who judge a candle by mood first and facts second.
The idea and the hook
Lead with the feeling of the scent, then give the facts in a separate variation.
“Fig, cedar, and the quiet part of Sunday.”
The demo creative approach
Both openings share one type system and palette so the variation is in the message, not the styling. Opening A leads with the mood and Opening B with the label, which gives the brand two genuinely different ways in rather than two colourways of one idea. The message variation carries the practical facts, and the story version is rebuilt for its safe zones.
The variation family
Each image is built for its placement, not cropped from another. Select any one to see it full size.
-
Opening A, 1:1
Leads with the mood of the scent.
-
Opening B, 1:1
A label close-up and a direct line.
-
Message variation, 4:5
Same look, carrying the practical facts.
-
Placement, 9:16
Rebuilt for 9:16 safe zones, not cropped.
